Det er en revolutionerende sammensætning af to klinisk dokumenterede stoffer, der kan bremse den kraftige dannelse og spredning af pigmentet melanin i overhuden.

I små mængder er melanin et godt stof, fordi det gør os solbrune og beskytter mod solens skadelige stråler. Men når der dannes for meget melanin, som klumper sig sammen, opstår der farveskjolder i ansigtet og på kroppen, f.eks. hænderne.

Pigmentforandringer i huden opstår bl.a. på grund af solbestråling, under graviditet, brug af p-piller, som aldersbetingede "leverpletter". Hudens pigment dannes  ved en kompliceret proces, hvor pigmentdannende celler i overhuden producerer melanin, der efterfølgende overføres til de omgivende overhudsceller.

Indholdet af aktivstofferne i Cosborg PigmentCare hæmmer overførslen af pigmentdannelse i overhuden. Samtidig har de aktive stoffer påvist at mindske dannelsen af melanin og endelig har kontrolleret afprøvninger på mennesker medført en signifikant reduktion af pigmentpletter. Cremen er tilsat UVA-beskyttelse. Virkningen indtræder løbende og optimal resultat på 3 måneder.

Det anbefales, at anvende Cosborg PigmentCare som første creme og efterfølgende kan påføres f.eks. dagcreme eller solbeskyttelse.
